Digital Designer

Are you a blend of digital enthusiast and passionate design expert? Do you obsess about front-end digital trends? Are you equally comfortable ripping CSS3 apart as you are drafting a pie-in-the-sky homepage in Photoshop? Then this might be the role for you!

As a Digital Designer, you’ll work closely with brand leadership to grow the company’s digital presence while driving performance.

What you’ll do: 

  • Create, design, and develop digital assets to support interactive campaigns including email blasts, microsites, landing pages, GIFS, animations, and other digital projects with an eye to keep designs on-brand and mobile
  • Collaborate with Brand Director to ensure designs are continuously optimized, aligned with best practices, and innovative
  • Complete design projects within tight deadlines
  • Execute day-to-day design and production of digital creative assets for webpages, emails, social media, and online advertising
  • Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for 3D illustrations, company logos, and internet websites
  • Check projects to ensure accuracy of production files
  • Ensure requested corrections are completed on assigned projects before sending for review by brand leadership
  • Ensure on-brand continuity in visual messaging across all digital channels
  • Monitor your own time on assigned projects to ensure established due dates are met 

Who you are:

  • Excellent understanding of web and mobile standards, including responsive design and usability
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and be self-motivated and adaptive to change
  • Excellent knowledge of design techniques, interactive tools, and principles
  • Media production, communication, a strong eye for typography and color
  • Possess knowledge of interaction design, user-centered experience design, brand development, digital marketing, and the creative process
  • Work well in a collaborative, team-based environment (work autonomously and as part of team)

What you know:

  • Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or Advertising with a digital focus
  • 3-5 years of design, graphic arts, and production in agency/retail preferred
  • HTML5, CSS, 3D, and motion design experience is a plus
  • Solid knowledge of UI and UX design trends 
  • Significant experience in layout for digital with proven graphic design skills and experience
  • Strong interests and capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences 
  • Software: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, as well as PowerPoint and Keynote

Target Start Date: 8/21
4-9 month contract, with potential fulltime conversion for the right candidate
Hours 8am – 5pm, 60 minutes lunch
Onsite, car needed
