Job Title: Graphic Designer

Our client is a global beauty brand looking for a 2D Graphic Designer for their Visual Merchandising Department. The role will last about 3-6 months, possibly longer.
The designer will work on 2D graphics and communication for the brand's new approach on free-standing and department stores.
Partner with Global Executive Director 2D Visual Merchandising, to develop and execute on-brand design solutions for assigned programs within our launch calendar.
Work with store design and visual merchandise leads to develop consistency in overall look and feel of the environment.
Leverage strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple projects at one time.
Participate in weekly Creative department status meetings as needed and coordinate on a daily basis with other members of the Creative and Creative Operations teams as needed.
Execution on merchandising guidelines and new store guidelines.
8+ years of related experience with strong design background including concept development and production.
Strong graphic design with ability to follow graphic standard.
·Strong ability to communicate ideas, flexibility of vision, responsiveness to creative input and great visual sensibilities.
Fluent computer skills for MAC: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and In Design),
Must be creative and innovative with strategic thinking as well as design proficiency.
Must be a big to small picture designer and executor – from ideation to execution.
Able to articulate ideas effectively to present and discuss design solutions and processes to both internal and external groups.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with different teams across levels.
High attention to detail and organization in design work and project management. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with short and long lead times and meet deadlines. Ability to juggle many pressing priorities with ease in a fast paced environment.
Must be self-motivated and can work independently.
