What you'll be doing every day:

  • Working with clients to optimize email, online and offline marketing campaign performance
  • Researching and developing interactive programs for clients, utilizing emerging technologies in Email, Web Viral, and Social Networking community spaces
  • Identifying, planning, and executing analysis opportunities
  • Helping clients gain insights into their business and customer behavior through analysis of campaign data, transactional data, customer profile data, and competitor/industry analysis
  • Developing multi-channel contact strategies tailored to individual customer segments
  • Creating marketing playbooks and tests plan designs
  • Defining performance metrics and measurements schemes
  • Supporting sales teams in new prospect meetings and client renewals
  • Working with industry consultants, peer groups, and client service teams to identify new business opportunities
  • Coordinating solutions across environments
  • Helping clients to make better decisions and be good problem solvers (discover, diagnosing the current landscape and competitive set)
  • Developing business cases, and analyzing their existing marketing and customer data to get insight into their customers and business
  • Providing thought leadership within the company as well as with clients
  • Designing and managing client engagements

 

You have:

  • Basic familiarity of marketing channels (digital, email)
  • Understanding of the basics of segmentation and communication strategy
  • Basic knowledge of industry and consumer insights tools
  • Foundational understanding of Analytics
  • Ability to perform basic analysis (QA, analytics hygiene, Excel, Pivot charts and tables, dashboard reports)
  • Contextual understanding
  • Ability to apply the analytic techniques to the client project
  • Strong instinct for teamwork and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams (i.e. statistical, technical, and marketing)

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Marketing Communications Strategy to develop profiles/personas of target consumers to create segmentations to help to determine marketing mix allocations, as well as develop strategic marketing concepts to create investment plans
  • Assist with Marketing Communications Planning to determine most effective communications options to determine timing and other characteristics of campaigns and program
  • Provide business-related input into the development and ongoing maintenance of the CRM/marketing system used by clients
  • Assist in gathering key business requirements for marketing systems
  • Conduct database queries and utilize SQL (as necessary) to answer key business questions

 

Technical requirements:

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Some database query experience with SQL is a plus

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Communication, Psychology, Statistics, or Economics
  • Experience working in Media or Psychology labs
