IMPLEMENTATION DESIGNER

An Implementation Designer is a skilled, versatile designer with experience working with brand systems. They possess a strong understanding of how to effectively and efficiently concept, and execute across a wide range of categories while thoughtfully managing brand assets and equities, ensuring the system is on brand, cohesive, category relevant, and shoppable.

An Implementation Designer’s role may include:

  • Concept and execute lead sku’s against a wide array of categories
  • Provide range in output: conceptual, revisional, extensions, back panel & all-panel layouts
  • Work on target with design system objectives & brand strategy
  • Maintain brand integrity
  • Translate relevant category cues into e!ective packaging that competes & wins
  • Support creative director and design manager in all aspects of system
  • Partner with internal brand team, client service, production, design
  • Understand and follow project methodologies
  • Aid in seeing projects through from conceptualization to implementation
  • Be accountable to yourself, the team, and the work

IMPLEMENTATION DESIGNER SKILLS NEEDED

  • Solid design aesthetic: typography, color, image & layout
  • Strong conceptual thinking: responsible to thought provoking
  • Eye for food photography / image sourcing
  • Ability to concept & compose appetizing imagery, keeping category dynamics in mind
  • Solid design, layout, & typographic fundamentals
  • Good handle on technical skills / mastery of design programs
  • Understanding of print process & methods, building files accordingly
  • Ability to read dielines & incorporate design properly
  • Brand guideline experience
  • Ability to successfully apply & manage brand equities
  • Understanding of brand systems & portfolio, architecture & segmentation
  • Ability to take direction well, ensuring that work is well thought out and complete
  • Excellent communication skill, with the ability to keep your team informed and up to date
  • Meticulous organization skills, able to keep information and files together
  • Ability to be self sufficient and a self-starter
  • Strong time management skills, keeping projects and timelines in check
  • Ability to multi task
  • Eye for detail, ensuring all information is accounted for and accurate
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, keeping projects moving
  • Ability to work independently when needed, making decisions & advancing the work
